a mixed bag

This evening I received the best of news and the worst of news from two friends. I am filled with joy for the former and overcome by sadness for the latter.

Job 1:21

deliverance

I am happy (relieved, ecstatic, thankful) to say that I am no longer going to be teaching the stress-causing ESL class. Last night was my last night, and thankfully, two of the assistant teachers are stepping up to do the lesson plans (one for beginners; one for intermediates) temporarily until a permanent replacement can be found. It is wonderful to have this weight lifted off my shoulders.
