The trip to Chicago came at a perfect time. I was kind of going crazy here up until I hopped in my car to drive up to DC last week Wednesday. Sometimes I just need to get away from here and see old friends, the ones who already know the stories.
The first half of the trip was primarily filled with wedding related events: the bachelorette party, the rehearsal, the wedding itself. The second half of the trip we played tourist: Sears Tour, Navy Pier, Art Institute.
The best part? Little conversations here and there with Alex and Carrie and Meghan and Stacey. Laughing about inside jokes (No one else would understand why we would even think to compliment someone's clavicles anyway).
Oh, and Eric & Meghan are so perfect for each other. They just fit. I couldn't imagine anyone else better for her :)
