creeper?

This morning I hopped in my car to go to work, turned on the ignition, and flipped on the wiper blades since it was raining outside. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if it hadn't been raining, but there was a note stuck under the passenger side wiper blade. I got out and grabbed the note.

The note was written in pink marker on a 3x5 index card. The note read:

Keep working hard! Friends will help a lot, so keep them close. God will keep strengthening you and give you hope!

I think the message itself is really cool and reassuring, but I have to admit that I'm a little creeped out by the fact that it was even there. Whoever put it on my car did it either last night while I was parked on campus or after I got home at 10 and before I left for work this morning. I'm guessing it was the latter.

Overall, creepy-factor is far outweighing the positive message of the note.

I wonder if it could have been a random do-gooder? It's sounds like a encouraging, but a little bit generic, message... you didn't happen to notice if every other car around yours had one as well?

I didn't even think to look, so who knows...

I was wondering the same thing.

See, when we wish for those messages from God that are like spelled out for us and don't get them we are frustrated, so here you get one and you get creeped out. Oh wait, God doesn't leave messages on the wiper blades...

how do you know God doesn't leave wiper blade messages? people see the Virgin Mary in cheese sandwiches all the time! i'm thinking there were other cards - a random message sender. but yeah, a little creepy. one well-placed sign would do the trick.

Ok - I just went to a self-defense course in Mitchell. (not that this has much to do w/ gangs) but the officers talked about how 'gangs' are putting things on people's cars - like the back window, or underneath the windshield wiper - and when the person gets out to check on it - they take the car/or worse....

Of course, i'm sure they don't leave positive messages like that.... just a thought.

Drive down the street, or out of the parking lot at least, and then look at what is on your car - was the 'moral.'

Anyway- yeah . wierd. :)
