brilliant, just brilliant

I was getting ready to make pasta for supper, so I put some water in a pan, added a little olive oil, and added a little salt. Oh wait, that's not quite how it happened.

What I meant to say is that I unscrewed the lid of the olive oil bottle and poured some in, and then I unthinkingly unscrewed the lid of the salt shaker and poured some in. And by some, I mean half of the salt in the shaker.

Oops!

Needless to say, I dumped out that water-oil-salt concoction and started over.

It's a really good thing it's the weekend :)

At least this kind of goof doesn't require massive cleanup efforts....say, if you had boiled over your pasta instead. :)
