Within the last week, I've had 2 different people make comments to me about how they or someone they know wants to be me.
One of the undergraduates who came to talk to me last semester about being a librarian was recently accepted to library school. I guess she's super excited about it. Two of the English faculty mentioned it to me and commented on how much she (the student) had appreciated me taking the time to talk to her. One of these faculty member said she thought the student wanted to be me someday.
Just today when I was leaving work, I ran into one of the English grad students who will be graduating this semester. I asked her about her post-graduation plans. She said they aren't set yet but that she had thought about library school and how she would love to be me. Not only that but "lots of people" evidently want to be me or at least have my job.
I remember meeting people I wanted to "be" when I was still a student. I guess I just never thought that people would think the same about me. It's a little humbling.

I think that's refreshing!! We could use a few more people like you in this world!
I agree with all the above comments... you are a person to desire to be like!
