After a week of being free from allergy symptoms thanks to my spendy allergy prescription medicines, my eyes decided that they were having none of that last Friday. They began with a little itching and then proceeded to water non-stop for almost 3 days. Take that allergy medicine!
So you can imagine how attractive one's eyes would become if they're continually watering. Puffy eyelids, continual glassy look, red and raw lower eyelids from continual wetness. Super attractive.
Because of the amazing swelling of my eyelids, Diego has taken to calling me Puff. He even made up a little song (to the tune of Oh, Christmas Tree):
Oh, puff, puff, puff.
Oh, puff, puff, puff.
How puffy are your eyes.
I wish I could remember the rest of the words. It was absolutely hilarious.
So tomorrow I'll be back at the doctor's office for round two in attempting to treat my allergies. Hopefully I won't need to go in for a third round.

Aww, I hope you can find relief. Pataday works great for both Doug & me. There's some new nasal spray called Veramyst that's supposed to help both nose & eyes but they say something to the effect of "we exactly don't know how this works"--so I am afraid to use it.
ha ha ha ha!! I love the nickname and the song! I'm sorry you're dealing with the allergies, but I love that he nicknamed you. I like him :)
