Around noon today, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. I'm in recovery mode now: gauze, prescription pain killers, and cold packs. The bleeding is slowing down quite a bit, and I can almost feel all of my face... almost.
In addition to the local anesthesia and chose to be knocked out completely. Even if I wasn't going to feel anything, I still didn't really want to be conscious while the oral surgeon was rooting around in my mouth, removing teeth. One of the last things I saw before I passed out completely was a Jesus fish stuck to the ceiling directly above the operating table.
