nap time anyone?

On Saturday morning I woke up and one thought immediately popped into my mind: "I wasn't this close to the floor when I fell asleep last night." At first I thought that perhaps I just hadn't sealed ye old air mattress properly, so before I went to bed that night, I refilled the mattress and carefully sealed the hole. Sunday morning I woke up to find that I was yet again much closer the floor than I had been the night before.

What do you do when your air mattress of 8 1/2 months starts to leak air? Buy a new air mattress? Of course not. Buy a real bed? Absolutely.

So I went mattress shopping earlier this week. After laying on countless mattresses, I found one that I liked at a quasi-reasonable price, so I purchased it and threw in a dresser for good measure (I've been more irritated with having my clothes in boxes than I have been with the air mattress).

The new bed was delivered on Wednesday, and I don't have words for how much I love it. It is ridiculously comfortable. It makes me want to go home and take a nap, and I am not big on naps generally speaking. It makes me want to not get up in the morning (even more so than usual). In general, it makes me happier than an inanimate object should, but I love it nonetheless.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I know, I know, that phrase is speaking of a loved one, but I think in this case we can apply it to your bed. :)
Happy Dreams!
